Project Non-Disclosure Agreement

Version 1.0 · effective 18 September 2026 · hireronin.com

1. What this covers

This covers the specific business named in the request you are sending with it, and everything you tell us about them — who they are, what they're unhappy with, what you intend to propose, and anything else in the brief. It sits on top of the mutual NDA between us rather than replacing it. Where the two overlap, whichever wording protects you more is the one that applies.

2. We will not approach them

This is the clause that matters, so it is explicit. Ronin will not approach, solicit, market to, pitch, or take on as a direct client the business named in this request, for two years from the date you send it. Not through us, not through anyone acting for us, not through any other business we are part of. If that business approaches us unprompted, we will tell you before we respond to them.

3. What we use it for

Only to build the homepage you have asked for. We will not use what you tell us to pitch anyone else, to inform work for one of their competitors, or as an example in our own marketing or sales conversations.

4. Who gets to see it

Only the people who genuinely need it to do the work, and they are bound by obligations no weaker than these. Where part of the work relies on a service provider — our identity-verification and invoicing providers are named in our privacy policy — we pass on only what that provider needs, and only where it is bound to protect it on terms no weaker than these.

5. The work ships under your name

Nothing we build for this carries our name. We will not publish it, put it in a portfolio, enter it for anything, or refer to the business by name in public, without your written agreement — whether you win the pitch or lose it.

6. If the pitch doesn't land

Tell us and we will destroy what we hold about that business promptly, except for copies that sit in routine backups or that we are required to keep by law, which stay covered by this agreement until they age out.

7. How long it lasts

Three years from the day you send the request, except the commitment in clause 2, which runs for the two years stated there. Anything that qualifies as a trade secret stays protected for as long as it remains one. Nothing here shortens the mutual NDA between us, which runs to its own term.

Unsigned copy. This is the agreement as it currently stands, for you to read or take advice on. It is accepted each time you send a free-homepage request at hireronin.com/mockup, and it names the business in that request. Because it covers one request rather than your account, ask us at blades@hireronin.com for a copy of any particular one you have signed.
